  • Step 1

    Combine the banana, greens, almond butter, almond milk, water and vanilla extract, if desired, in a blender. Puree until smooth.

  • Step 2

    Divide between glasses; serve immediately.

  • Step 3

    VARIATION: Optional items that can be added including flax seed oil (for omega 3 essential fatty acids); a handful of dark, leafy greens (for calcium, vitamins and fiber); and green food powder (such has powdered spinach, for calcium and vitamins).
